How to Get to Your Dormitory
You can arrive at the MU halls of residence at any time, there will always be someone at reception 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. At reception they will have your name and will give you the key to your room. If you arrive during the weekend or late in the evening, you might be asked to show/sign the accommodation contract (signed online and printed out from the ISKaM before your arrival) directly at reception. If you arrive during working days (until 2 p.m.), go to fill in and sign the accommodation contract at the accommodation assistant's office (see the Documents section).
It is highly recommended to arrive before Orientation Week. Please note we can book accommodation for you only during the academic year.
Vinařská halls of residence
Vinařská street 5, Brno 603 00
You can see the location of Vinařská on the map. If you decide to get there on your own from the main railway station in Brno, or the bus station by Hotel Grand (these stations are very close to each other), take tram No. 1 in the direction of “Bystrc” and get off at the stop called “Výstaviště – hlavní vstup”. Then cross the road and go up the street called “Vinařská”. About 200 metres up the street, you will see the main building of the Vinařská halls on your left. Take the steps up, then go through a short passage between the buildings and you will see all 3 blocks of the Vinařska residence on your left. The reception desk is located inside by the entrance of each block.

Komárov-Sladkého halls of residence
Sladkého street 13, 617 00 Brno - please note that the accommodation assistant’s office is in the next building, Bratří Žurků street No. 5
You can see the location of Komárov (Sladkého) on the map. If you decide to get there on your own from the main railway station in Brno, or the bus station by Hotel Grand (these stations are very close to each other), take a bus number 40 (direction Újezd u Brna), 48 (direction Prace, Točna), 49 (direction Modřice, Olympia), 50 (direction Zoologická zahrada) or 63 (direction Chrlice, smyčka) and get off at the stop “Komárov”. Cross the road and depending on which bus you use, walk either through Lužná or Pompova street about 200 metres, turn right to Lomená street and after about 100 metres there will be the dormitory building on your left.

Komárov-Bratří Žurků halls of residence

You can see the location of Komárov (Bratří Žurků) on the map. If you decide to get there on your own from the main railway station in Brno, or the bus station by Hotel Grand (these stations are very close to each other), take a bus number 40 (direction Újezd u Brna), 48 (direction Prace, Točna), 49 (direction Modřice, Olympia), 50 (direction Zoologická zahrada) or 63 (direction Chrlice, smyčka) and get off at the stop “Komárov”. Cross the road and depending on which bus you use, walk either through Lužná or Pompova street about 200 metres, then turn right tono Lomená street and after a couple of metres turn left onto Kratina street. As you enter the street, you will see the tall dormitory building in front of you.

Kounicova halls of residence
Kounicova 50, Brno 602 00
You can see the location of Kounicova on the map. If you arrive at the train station or the bus station by Hotel Grand (these stations are very close to each other), take tram number 12 in the direction of “Technologický park” and get off at the “Klusáčkova” stop. Then go back about 200 metres (opposite to the direction of the tram). Pass through two crossroads (the second one is with traffic lights) and you will see the dormitory on your left.

Klácelova halls of residence
Klácelova 282/2, 602 00 Brno
You can see the location of Klácelova dormitory on the map. If you decide to get there on your own from the main railway station in Brno, or the bus station by Hotel Grand (these stations are very close to each other), take a tram number 4 (direction Náměstí Míru) and get off at the stop called „Náměstí míru“ (the last stop). Then go back about 150 meters (opposite to the direction of the tram) and turn right on the Klácelova street. Then go about 50 meters and the Klácelova dormitory will be on your right side.

Náměstí míru halls of residence
Náměstí Míru 376/4, 602 00 Brno
You can see the location of Náměstí Míru dormitory on the map. If you decide to get there on your own from the main railway station in Brno, or the bus station by Hotel Grand (these stations are very close to each other), take a tram number 4 (direction Náměstí Míru) and get off at the stop called „Náměstí míru“ (the last stop). Then go straight to the church, turn left and in about 30 meters you will have the Náměstí Míru dormitory on your right side.

Mánesova halls of residence
Mánesova 2556/12a, 612 00 Brno
You can see the location of Mánesova dormitory on the map. If you decide to get there on your own from the main railway station in Brno, or the bus station by Hotel Grand (these stations are very close to each other), take a tram number 1 (direction Řečkovice) and get off at the stop called „Tylova“. Then go back (opposite to the direction of the tram), cross the road and turn right. Then go about 200 meters, turn slightly right and go additional 100 meters and the Mánesova dormitory will be on your left side.

Tvrdého halls of residence
Tvrdého 501/5, 602 00 Brno
You can see the location of Tvrdého dormitory on the map. If you decide to get there on your own from the main railway station in Brno, or the bus station by Hotel Grand (these stations are very close to each other), take a tram number 4 (direction Náměstí Míru) and get off at the stop called „Úvoz“. Then go back about 50 meters (opposite to the direction of the tram) and cross the road. Then go about 150 meters straight, on the traffic lights cross the road again and turn right. The dormitory will be on your left side.
