Volunteering

If you are interested to volunteer during your stay in Brno, there are a few options on how to do so.

The first one is to become a volunteer through Masaryk University. Masaryk University has developed its app for volunteers – „MUNI POMÁHÁ“ (MUNI HELPS) that can be downloaded from App Store or Google Play. The app is available in English, however, the requests for help usually require czech-speaking person, so it might not bet he right choice for you if you don’t know Czech.

Masaryk University also offers course dedicated to volunteering. It is managed by the Faculty of Arts and you can find it under the code DOBRO_ARTS – Volunteering. In this course, you can volunteer through the MUNI app or in another organization of your choice and gain 2 credits for it.

Also, the organization ESN MUNI Brno accepts international students as volunteers. If you are interested in joining them in some of their activities you can contact them at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. for further information.

You can also volunteer outside of the university. In that case, we recommend you to check Brno Expat Centre web page where you can find volunteer opportunities for non-Czech speakers.
