Masaryk University regularly offers staff from partner institutions a chance to participate in a Masaryk University Training (MUST) Week under Erasmus+ programme or other schemes.

MUST Week 2025: International Relations Office and Project Managers and Administrators with Faculty of Social Studies

Faculty of Social Studies at Masaryk University welcomes up to 20 colleagues from partner universities to participate in a MUST Week focused on International relations and Project Managers and Administrators.

The MUST Week will offer a five–day programme for academics and non-academics interested in any of these topics: grant support, national funding, international funding, internal funding, communication tools, researching funding opportunities, opportunities for cooperation, International student admission, marketing of paid English full-degree programs, role of student ambassadors, services for students, exchange students and best practice sharing.

Some of these topics will take the form of presentation, some of them will take the form of group discussions and round tables.

There is a fee of EUR 150 (materials, social program, coffee breaks, two meals are included)

MUST Week 2025: Services for students with special needs: Inclusive Higher Education & Universal Design for Learning

Teiresias – Masaryk University Support Centre for Students with Special Needs offers the topic “Inclusive Higher Education & Universal Design for Learning”. No registration fee. We can host up to 30 participants. 

Teiresias Centre - Support Centre for Students with Special Needs at Masaryk University would like to invite you to a week-long staff training on Inclusive Higher Education & Universal Design for Learning. Participants will be presented with the principles of universal design for learning as well as other approaches and good practices when it comes to building an inclusive environment at a higher education institution.

Staff week is open both to academics and non-academics interested in any of these topics: inclusive education, assistive technologies, inclusive mobility, support of students with special needs in the EU, the Czech Republic, services for students with dyslexia, psychological disorders, autism spectrum disorder, services for students with sensory impairment (visual, hearing, mobility), language courses for students with special needs, braille encoding, tactile printing, hybrid books, sign language in higher education, special math, etc.

There is a fee of EUR 150 (accommodation and food not included, apart from daily coffee breaks)

MUST Week 2025: Smart Solutions for Teacher Education

Faculty of Education, Masaryk University focuses on preparing future teachers and educators through innovative teaching methods and a commitment to equality, diversity and social responsibility. With a strong emphasis on international collaboration, it supports both Czech and international students in developing skills that meet the needs of modern education systems.

Our staff week on Smart Solutions in Training and Educating Teachers invites non-academic professionals (and interested academics) to explore practical, tech-driven strategies for work. The programme will cover topics from practice in faculty school and engaging the digitalized generation Z to topics like enhancing learning through AI, or virtual classrooms and online tools.

There is a EUR 170 fee due after acceptance into the mobility.

MUST Week 2025: Research Managers and Administrators

Research management services are an important facilitator of the success of MU in R&I. The MUST Week will be a tour of central services that are essential for development of excellent research at universities and other research institutions: grant support, research evaluation, and management of research infrastructures. It is a week of intense knowledge exchange with spotlight on good practice examples from MUNI, but co-created by all participants.

MUST Week 2025: International Relations Offices – general program group

(under Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme)

Masaryk University welcomes up to 30 colleagues from partner universities to participate in a Staff Training Week focused on international relations.

We will focus on general topics from the agenda of International office such as mobilities, their administration, project management and marketing. Please see the detailed program below. Some of these topics will take the form of presentations, and some of them will take the form of group discussions. Participants will have the opportunity to network with colleagues from partner institutions from European and non-European countries.

This target group will be part of the Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP), which means you must record your Erasmus STT mobility as a BIP mobility in the Beneficiary Module.

There is no participation fee.

MUST Week 2025: International Relations Office – Marketing Group

(under Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme)

Are you passionate about marketing or is it an integral part of your daily work routine? Would you like to use the Staff Week to deepen your knowledge in this area and be part of creative sessions? We’ve prepared sessions on international marketing strategy, website creation, internal communications, working with alumni and ambassadors, design for non-designers, social media management and personalized consultancy with informal brainstorming opportunities. 

This target group will be part of the Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP), which means you must record your Erasmus STT mobility as a BIP mobility in the Beneficiary Module.

There is no participation fee.

MUST Week 2025: Libraries  

The topic of the five-day meeting of academic librarians is library information and analysis services. We welcome colleagues who want to share their experiences with information services towards students, researchers and ultimately the university or faculty/school management. Open for up to 15 participants.

There is EUR 120 registration fee due after acceptance into the mobility.
