Masaryk University organizes a number of short term programs, mainly summer schools, but since 2010 even a winter school, and also some shorter programs taking place in spring or fall.

The oldest of them – the Summer School of Slavonic (Czech) Studies – dates from 1967; others have been established more recently.

Central Europe Programmes have been offered by the Office for International Studies (usually in the cooperation with one of the faculties), others are offered by individual MU units.
