The Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Masaryk University, awards six and the Department of Czech for Foreigners awards four three-month scholarships, each of 6,000 Czech crowns per month, for the study of Czech language, literature and culture. These scholarships run from October to December and are intended for students interested in Czech Studies. Applicants should have a good knowledge of the Czech language in order to be able to follow lectures and attend seminars conducted in Czech. This scholarship does not include health insurance.
