The Office for International Studies runs an extensive orientation week before every semester.

The orientation week includes:

• Registration with Office for International Studies
• Welcoming reception
• Tour of Brno
• City Game
• Introductory talk on Czech society, culture, customs and humour :)
• Trip to Macocha caves and Vyškov brewery
• Introduction to Czech language

For students in the CESP, ISEP, ISEP-Direct and TESOL TE programs, this is included in their programme costs.

Students coming to Masaryk University within the Erasmus programme, GFPS, Utrecht Network, bilateral exchanges can participate in the orientation week for a reduced fee (900 CZK).

Students of the above mentioned programmes do not have to contact anyone to apply for the orientation week because they indicate whether they want to participate in the Orientation week in their online application.
